Newb Question - Spawn generation using pre-cooked/microwave grain/rice bags?

Okay, so grower since 2000, but also have not touched anything cult related in about 5 + years other than teaching an Earth Day class on recycling - I know everyone here is up to state of the art,so here's my question;
I've always thought it would be nice to be able to grab a bag of organic microwavable "rice or grain" bag off the shelf at the supermarket - and with no preparation other than basic steril bathroom techniques, inject with spores/LC, incubate and use as spawn. Has this happened yet?
Something like this stuff?

I actually think this has been tried before. the moisture content is going to be off though so they tried steaming it out in a microwave and poking a hole in it.

This would just make a jar of sticky hot-mess. Not to mention, the microwave radiation would ruin them during the long cycle of sterilization. Brown rice flour and verm is much easier.

also organic means shit, it doesn't mean there's no preservatives it just means there are no synthetic ones.

Actually I don't want to use the Microwave, I figure the bag has been pre-cooked already (so should be sterile already)
I just wanted to try to use it off the shelf -> alcohol the outside of the bag -> inoculate -> cover the injection site with micropore tape -> incubate -> colonize - spawn.
Main concern is yes - moisture content and then air exchange.

Just because it's cooked doesn't mean its sterile. Hey, by all means try it, but I'm going to say this won't work very well.

Here is a unsterilized WBS bag. I would try the rice. I would use an LC. I am watching this thread.

Yep, make sure you spit and piss on it while you're at it.

I suppose that is the only acid test...I gues I would use a LOT of LC to offset low Moisture content...

I was hoping the "food status" would require a level of sterility...but again, just a hippie thinking things...

latest teks you say, click the first link in my signature.
if anything you would have to use very little LC those pre-fab rice bags are too wet if anything.

Okay I'll try to acquire some oyster LC in the Marketplace and report back. We'll assume anything that works for oysters will translate easily to cubes...

someone did this with canned corn
and i swear it was attempted again with better pictures...but i can't find it.
i would go for it though, but it will be hard to see contamination.

oysters stand a better chance, they're way fast colonizers and can fend off some contaminations

How come we need GE holes for jars but not monos during colonization?

The lids on tubs are imperfect and allow for GE
