Well, after being in the FC for about 7 days after consolidation, I am seeing my first pin (I presume)..

PE can be a super slow pinner. 7 days isn't too long to wait. I had a PE tub take 30 days of fruiting conditions before it wanted to start pinning.

Yup, that's a pin. Congrats man, it feels sooo awesome to finally see the work pay off! Also I love that sig picture. I saved the HD version you linked. I have a folder of a bunch of videos and images saved that I'm going to move to my TV for my next trip. Mr. Canis Lupus just made the cut!

It does feel good, actually! I feel like a parent  ha.
I appreciate all the kind words, I will keep this post updated.
I really do want to grow a bulk PE batch. figured I'd start with cakes first then graduate once I get the hang.

Misting 2-3 times per day, fanning every two hours or so.

Cut some of that foil down. You want a circle around the cakes to help them benefit from the RH more.

I guess that I'll have to wait on the other pins to form. Keep hearing/reading that PE likes to make ya wait a bit. How often should I mist (read also that they kind of like a drier sub than other cubes..)? I also was wondering if I should let the mist touch the actual body of the mushroom.

I mist my pins directly.
 
You should see them hours after that last pic .
I'm glad you mentioned dryness because I wasn't going to comment having not grown PE off cakes. Your pin looks dry, notice the bluing around the cap. Make sure you're misting the perlite as well. What kind of mister are you using? Does it shoot out thick globs of water near the bottom? That's doing more harm then good.
You want something like this.
EDIT:
As for timing I try to use the water I end up spraying on my walls as an indicator of when evaporation has occured if I can't tell on the cake. For instance, if I spray with the sprayer I linked above the side walls of my SGFC get drenched. When I come back six hours later about 1/2 - 3/4th of that water is dried. I mist if I see most of it gone or if I see any bluing on the cake. Lately I've made sure that I'm stretching it out by 8-9 hours but I used to mist every 6 hours with great results. I just find that my cake can last the extra 2-3 hours and it'll promote more evaporation.

Actually, I'm glad you brought that up as I read in some other users post where you mentioned using a mister that is really fine.. mine is like a 99 cent one from the grocery store (I know, I know.. I have discussed with the woman that we need a finer mister) and plan on upgrading.. you posted one from home depot, was like 6-7 bucks, which I am probably purchasing soon..
But yeah, I was meaning to mention that too, slipped the mind.
I will cut back on the foil to allow maximum RH benefit. How often should I spray the cake that is fruiting? I currently have 3 PE cakes and one EQ cake I just recently put in (last night I DNR it)

Yes, I'm assuming that it's going to not be a problem with having two varieties in the same FC..?
