yes I'm growing cambo's on brf. it took me about 4-5 days until i saw first signs of growth. make sure your foil is off. did you pressure cook your grains?-TheLostBoys

day 10 in the fruiting chamber. no signs of pins or any growth going on. they are a lil tad bit bruised from handling them a week or so ago, but doesn't not look like any active contams. looks like active psilocybin. anyways Ive got my temps at 70.5 and RH at 95%temps get to about 65 at night. i spray them when they look dry and fan. very hopeful and confident that ill see some guys popping up here soon.Christmas would be a wonderful day for the fruits to be done but I'm still waiting for pins so we'll see. anyways here a pic. cheers everyone! have a happy high holidaze.

i just went to mist and fan and saw pins forming on the bottom near the tin foil 2 to be exact and on the other cake i saw a little head popping out. I'm loving it! post pics tomo when its more picture worthy. yesssss!

Some cubes take longer to pin than others, I've had cakes pin 4-5 days after DNR and putting into FC, and have one that's two weeks old and it's just now pinning, so apparently some cakes pin quicker than others.. but that's awesome..
That cake turning bluish? might be from drying out perhaps.. EDIT: Just saw that you sad it may be from handling them.
How often are you misting them, as well as how often you're fanning.

I mist when I wake up which is about 9 o'clock am. Most and fan. Then about noonish I do the same. Then I go do the same if it looks dry around 3 pm. Then I usually do a fourth fan and mist when the lights turn off at 6 pm. Sometimes I will do a fan and mist before I go to bed also. But averaging about 4 times a day. How's things been goin w your tourm? It's about that time for us to shine on the shroomery. Very excited and can't wait to see where this takes me in a year. Also, if your curious about getting more spores, a vendor( u can pm me) is having a stocking stuffer special for an awesome price and a great deals. Anyways figured I'd inform you. alright so here it is, my first pins and mushrooms hopefully starting to come through. theres a couple other spots on this cake were pins are forming and the other cake doesn't seem to be showing any signs yet but my predictions for christmas might be on point. anyways cheers everyone!

Yes my grains had been soaking for 24hours in tepid water mixed with gypsum. After I pced them for 90mins and left to cool for 24hours (couldn't do it sooner; school, work, assignments, other projects..etc)
They were on foil for the first day but then I changed their cover in a SAB with micropore tape.
My G2G jars now have SFDs

what size are the holes you drilled it your fruiting chamber I drilled 1/4 inch holes in mine

alright everyone! i woke up this morning an everything is look awesome! like 5 more pins popped up this morning. the only question i have is all the pins are forming on the bottom of the cake and seem to be lifting the cake up off the foil a little bit. i know mushrooms are complex organisms but should i flip them over? ill post pics around 12ish. thx -TheLostBoys
