I have a wood patch outside I spawned some cyan bags to back in spring, and some fruits finally popped up about a week ago. But then I noticed they're not maturing and not getting any bigger, basically aborting. Do cyans take longer to mature? Or should I be doing something like spraying them with water or put plastic over them for humidity? Ill get some pics up here in a minute

Cyans are known to take a while to mature aren't they cron? I feel like I've read that before.

That's one of the clusters that popped up about a week ago. And I checked yesterday amd some of them look like they're aborting, and some got their caps eaten off by a squirrel or something.agahaha. That thing is probably trippin balls somewhere. Little bastard

They still looked good in that pic but kinda went downhill after that. Might be because of our fluctuating temps here. I'm in nw ohio. One day its 40 degrees, next day its 75. I'm hoping that's all it is. Becuase they popped up the very first week we had low temps. And then it got warm and stayed warm a few days

Just give them time. My last patch of P. azurescens just ripened
a few days ago and I cut them when there was a few ice crystals
on them. Hang in there it will happen. With cool weather it just
takes longer. I bet in a week all will be fine.

I'm starting to think its because our weather keeps fluctuating. We still got a ways til snow so I'm hoping they put out a good flush til then
