8 days no pinning should i be worried?

Hi guys, First time growing mushrooms, these are BRF cakes inoculated with P.cubensis spores and the strain is Cambodian, they have been in my SGFC for 8 days now and still no signs of pinning =( as u can see in pics the chamber sits directly under my fish tank lights set on a timer, and the lights do not give off heat so that's no the problem, i been misting at least 3 times a day and fanning at least 3 to 5 times a day (i would like to do this more but i have work commitments so sometimes it may take 8 hours till i can fan and mist but i have drilled small holes in every side of the container).
however the weather lately has been cold during the last week (around 18 to 20 Celsius).
So should i be worried that there is no pinning yet?
please see pics.

Does your shot gun have holes on all 6 side?
8 days is too soon to worry. It could pin overnight, depends on genetics and conditions. It looks like your conditions are almost right. Id raise the FC a little higher off the table and make sure you are not misting too much. Only mist when it looks dry. I really dont like the chunky Vermiculite, most of my problems come when using this stuff.

Did you give them time to consolidate before birthing?

That fruiting chamber is poorly constructed.

that may be true however the whole point of the fruiting chamber to my understanding is to hold high humidity (which mine does exactly that) and i am fanning it as often as i believe is required. however i am over misting i think, i didn't know i need to wait until it starts getting dry and then mist so i will do that from now on.

I'm not sure if there's supposed to be droplets of water on the foil, but your cakes don't look soaked.
Is that lid seran wrap?

yes it is seran wrap, and those droplets of water on the foil is because i took those pictures after i misted the chamber

Your understanding is incorrect.

The point of a SGFC is so that you get high humidity and FAE at the same time. Meaning that if you leave home for a few days it doesnt choke your growth. Much of the air intake comes from the bottom, raising up through the damp perlite, and into the chamber with high water content, hence the high humidity. You will tell how well your FC is set up later on in your grow when the mushrooms appear. For now lets see. Best of luck buddy I hope it all works for you.

You want high humidity, FAE and evaporation off of the substrate. You should have built it to spec.

stupid me it does not... let me fix that now and ill post pics.
what i did was i took the original lid for the container and just drilled holes in it, the reason i didn't use the lid in the first place i thought it would block out the light but that doesn't seem to be a problem.

Use the original lid. Mushrooms dont need light the same way plants do.
