It is a mix of Mycena and I think Entoloma. You should thoroughly research what you are looking for before you go out again, because there are thousands of mushroom species and very few are magic. You don't want to be picking Mycena and Entoloma unless you are interested in mushrooms that you can't eat or trip off. Sometimes I pick some Mycena because they smell interesting and I walk around for a minute or two with the caps in my nose so that my friend will look at me and laugh and because I like the smell and they fit perfectly. I found some cool Mycena this morning but I didn't do that. I feel like we can say what we like in this thread so I am opening up a little.

Smell is sometimes a useful character in determining a species, by all means update the request accordingly.

Shrooms is the word you are looking for.
And Amanita muscaria is probably not something you wana get involved with...
As for your other concerns... starts with G ends with oogle

Yes, you have been told by a Trusted Identifier that they are not an active species (i.e not 'magic').
Like I said AMANITA MUSCARIA is probably not a species you want to be consuming but if you are as keen as you sound then bloody well GOOGLE IT

*pats hooker on the back* (nowhere near the penis)
its ok mate, it'll be ok. it just takes a little training, like puppies.
what i want is to see joie's nose with mycena in it, and it better be in focus so we can see the gills! anyone who gets joie to tell us stuff like that is welcome to the shooomery (not the shramery eh) OP, (which stands for original poster) - please do some research into the effects of A. muscaria. it is NOT like 'magic' mushrooms, which is why you're getting warnings. While its apparently pretty hard to get a lethal dose of psilocybin in you, it may not be so with amanita species. (that i haven't googled personally)

I found the Mycena Joie ID'ed for me. I had my back to my wife and put two of them stipe first up my nose. When I turned around, she was getting a drink of water and nearly choked from laughter. I started laughing at her, and one of them shot out of my nose.
That was a moment to remember. Video would have been awesome.
