Did you ask Alan if it was alright with him before you made an 'official' thread? He could post these things himself if he wanted to... This feels awkward.

Hypholoma lateritium
This had abundant pleurochrysocystidia and capitate cheilocystidia.
Ophiocordyceps entomorrhiza
Psilocybe neoxalapensis
This species has two types of cheilocystidia and lacks pseudocystidia, differentiating it from the other species in this group. It took Alonso and I three years and dozens of hunts, but we can finally semi-accurately identify this species in the field.
Some of these pictures will be included in the book on Psilocybe neoxalapensis that we are working on.
Lit from behind with a LED light
Psilocybe fagicola
In Veracruz, this species is about 50 times more rare than P. neoxalapensis.
Psilocybe cubensis
Alonso
Alan, Alonso and Perla
Habitat
As I was taking this photo, the land owner passed by and said that he wanted to sell the land and the cows. And that he would take my jeep in trade.
These are the guys that wanted to trade my jeep for some cows and land
Psilocybe subtropicalis
This hill has more P. subtropicalis than any other hill in the world. We know, we have checked them all and studied all herbarium collections. Most collections of P. subtropicalis are 2 or 3 fruit bodies, however this place once yielded 80.
Habitat
Famous Psilocybe expert Virginia Ramirez-Cruz
Mycologists Alonso Cortez-Perez and Laura Guzman are in this pic
Psilocybe yungensis
Two Inocybe species
Spores from the Inocybe on the left
Psilocybe heimii
Trichia decipiens
Entoloma murrayi
Favolaschia sp.
Psilocybe zapotecorum
Amparoina spinosissima
Dicephalospora rufocornea
Aseroe rubra

Pretty cool photos from Mexico. However some of them are from Nova Scotia. Strange that. Your Geoglossaceae, Russula, and Agaricus/Cantharellus on a washing machine are a little out of place.
cheers

Hey we should start a shroomery MH&I land fund. We can start by collecting enough money amongst those on the shroomery who are interested to buy 2 jeeps! One for the land owner and the other for us! Shit... The possibilities are endless. It can be our base camp. We would encourage the locals to use our pasture to graze cattle on! Or shit we can sell the cattle ourselves to fat Americans! The price just depends on how many people wanna pitch in. Bad idea?

Bob Zimmer has a dog/Paxillus? That's fucking cool I guess. What happened to Bob I don't see him post much anymore, if anyone knew how to setup a good shot it was him!

and if they ask why all the pesky gringos are there, do we say we're a cult and we're waiting for the spaceship to circle back to pick us up? and we just like cow shit for the garden? and we'll tell em Alan sent us. That should work pretty well.

I'm sure a few of us would partake in some ancient pagan mushroom rituals. That will add credence to the whole cult thing.
