Hello,
What's the best way to store and prepare St.John's Wort to make tea?. So when I collect it, should I let it dry out or what?
Thank You.

Probably just as you'd make any tea, dry it out then strain it over hot water.
Ps. Does this stuff grow in the UK?

Yes it does grow in the UK. In July now, check along roadsides for a yellow flower, BUT there are other weeds and flowers along road sides that look like SjW but are not, so please make sure.

The flowers are spotty, and you get purple when rubbing them.. generally stems with oval, slightly decorated leaves, up to an inch long, and often in a cross formation, in the plant hasnt gotten topped, in case there may be several tops to it.. there are often many flowers per node..

i imagine you can make tea with the fresh plant but for storage you would need to dry it.

St. John's wort is abundant here. My grandmother stores it after it was dried upside-down.
I don't think I've ever seen tea made from a fresh plant, though this doesn't mean that it's impossible or a bad idea, just that people here don't do it afaik.
What do you use it for?
