 Fallout 3 > Fallout New Vegas

Picked it up again and I forgot how much fun this game was, way better than New Vegas so fuck anyone who says New Vegas is just more fallout 3. I have way more unscripted shit happen in 3, some of it cracks me up, about the only thing I wish 3 had was the iron sights and weapon mod, almost feels like a waste that it was only used in New Vegas.

If I were playing on the PC I would use mods. I mean I liked New Vegas alot but it doesnt compare to 3. New vegas doesnt feel post nuclear war, everything is so civilized. There is nothing like exploring a destroyed downtown DC overrun with mutiants and raiders who battle each other as well as you. New Vegas DLC was pretty crappy too, I didnt like any of it, Big MT and Mount Zion were mediocre and the rest were ehh, dead money was garbage. Operation achorage sucked and was still better.

Well technically New Vegas is SUPPOSED to feel like less Mad Max anarchy reigns type apocalypse and more of a civilized, people rebuilding type apocalypse however I do agree in that I prefer the setting of Fallout 3 and the game itself more overall. Still like NV though.

yeah I liked em both. they did both have different feels to them but thats what made it good. I think I would have gotten bored if new vegas was exactly like 3.
Now, I want some fallout 4 love. I was really hoping E3 this year would be teh reveal, but nooooooooope. ;(

Fallout 3 may have had a cooler setting
but to compared to NV, the writing was garbage and simplistic
and that's why I couldn't like it better.
I'm excited for FO4 and what I predict will be in Boston, MA and the New England flavor.
I also think PC Fallout players feel a bit differently about either game than the console version players.

The writing in NV was confused, the game didnt know what it wanted to do with the arcing story line that pretty much all had the same outcome.

I liked NV's story until you kill Benny then I found myself not enjoying it much.

Yeah. I let benny go free and then killed everyone in Cesar's camp and then the game was pretty much over, but the NCR didnt realize that I decimated his legion and kept acting like Cesar was still alive.

I bribed my way into his hotel room, opened the door as he was sitting down having a drink and when he was all like "woah man we can talk about this" I was all like "...nah" and blew his head off with my magnum revolver. Felt sooo good.

Earlier this week I downloaded a bunch of mods for Fallout 3, including an iron sights mod, and a realistic bullet damage/gun model mod. The game is way fucking harder now. Look up Fallout 3: Reborn if you wanna give it a try.

Unfortunately I am playing on a 360. I really miss my PC dude, I mean Its not hard to still use the weird zoom fallout 3 has originally but Iron sights would be a nice touch.
Lord Senate: When it first came out I had it on the PC and I used the console cheat that takes you to the mailbox room where I just took a bunch of Fat Mans and a ton of nukes and killed the entire wasteland. Killed everyone in Rivet City, GNR studios, Megaron, Republic of Dave, and Big town. I wish I coulda nuked the mouthy brats in Little Lamplight.

My gaming PC got severely outdated and I just never got another one, plus I dont have internet anymore so I just use my phone.

If you find all of the Keler family holotapes you get that in the national guard bunker. I did use the console commands to get that and blew myself up more than anything else with that goddamn thing. 8 Nukes is a bit extreme. I would shoot it in subway tunnels at radroaches and shit.
