Sorry, wasn't totally trolling.  Spent numerous frustrating hours trying to play both games so I'm not speaking entirely out of my ass.  :smile:

BF4: 100 hours in.  I really like the Silk Road map so still play that one occasionally.

I have 431 hrs on battlefield 4 :lol: even though I really dislike it I still play daily because I don't have any other ps games.

The mods are fun if you have Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead.  You can get DayZ Commander free and it manages the huge selection of mods.  Arma 3 has so much potential that I haven't explored but it is definitely my favorite military sim.  DayZ is going to be epic if they can get base building and vehicles implemented, and then allow people to host their own servers.

DayZ kinda disappointed me; I thought it was going to be awesome but the engine runs so shittily that I gave up on it already. I've been spending time with Breaking Point now and the sole fact that it runs on Arma 3 makes it multiple times better. Plus, I don't feel as hopeless when I'm looking for lot since its a little bit easier to get going than DayZ. But maybe I'm just not "hardcore" enough for DayZ. :shrug:

DayZ has always run pretty well for me :shrug:
You have to keep in mind though it's still in Alpha and they still have a lot of optimization to do.. they've also basically made a completely new game engine because of DayZ.. so there's been/will be a LOT more changes to come. You might want to give it another try in a few months or something when it's a little further along.

That's what I was planning since I already spent the money on it, but I think at this point I'll probably just stick with Breaking Point since the basic stuff feels so much further along than DayZ. We'll see what future updates bring. :thumbup:

There are some fun Altis Life and King of the Hill servers.. I've also heard good things about the Epoch mod as well..

It's not that bad.  Just WASD, Z for prone, C to crouch, V to vault, and if you hold control + W, A, S, or D, you will do tactical stance/position changes in whatever direction you are choosing.  It's very unique and useful.
