I'm assuming this is one of those threads that's ok to revive...
So even though it's the wrong season for planting (in this hemisphere, anyway) here's what I've got (and will still have in spring '09)
Flint Corn: Roy's Calais Painted Mountain Flour Corn: Hopi Blue Dent Corn: Oaxacan Green
Note that these corn varieties were grown in close proximity, so with the exception of Hopi Blue, they are likely to have hybridized to some extent with any of the other listed varieties.
Acorn Squash Coriander Calendula Black Turtle Beans

Oh and morel season is getting ready to kick off. Asshole loads of rain right now, then 2 days of 70s. So hopes are high. Wish me luck! This is year 2 of hunting them. Last year was great, so here's to nothing.

It's getting close enough to spring for me to start preparing for this year's garden. I'm looking to utilize a lot of wild edibles this year like dandelions, lambsquarters, purslane, etc.
I've got some zucchini seeds for trade from last season.
Anyone have thistle seeds or any other wild edibles?

I def would be interested in the ghost pepper seeds or the chocolate scorpion seeds i love any hot pepper though. although i dont know anything about them, i just heard of them from a cooking show called Hairy Bikers. they were cooking with the ghost pepper and people were profusely sweating off them. i would love to try them out though.

They are pretty chilli, but they're also delicious, I dry my peppers and use them bit by bit, usually only use like half a pepper, I sell a sauce in my shop, it's actually getting more and more popular, it's mainly capsicum and tomato with just 1 chocolate Scorp and one bih jolokia(ghosts less famous brother) it's pretty damn hot, I watch my customers sweat all the time

Hey, very interested in these pepper seeds you speak of .
I'm curious how well they grow seeing how they're bred for capsaicin and not general plant vigor.
I have a sad half alive pepper plant in a pot that makes maybe one pepper every now and then. Would be perfect for a ghost pepper seeing how one of those is enough capsaicin for a lifetime (for me anyways).
-------------------- have: blue, brown, pink, yellow, elm, king oyster, reishi, nameko, black poplar, shaggy mane, PESA want: ABM, ganoderma spp., straw mushroom, exotic pleurotus species, ethno cuttings/seeds.
