 Water amount for 50/50 Coir/Verm Bulk Substrate

Okay, so im finished up my first monotub and now have 6 quarts of fully colonized rye I am about to spawn for my next tub. However I wanted to ask and see exactly how much water people use when using coir/verm substrate, for approximately 1 brick of coir and roughly 2 quarts of verm. I know damion5050's tek calls for 4 quarts of water. While others such as FrankHorrigan who calls for 4.5-5.5 Quarts which is a significant amount more although he also suggests 1-3 quarts of verm.
What are the exact ratios you use? What are the benefits for using more verm? What ratios would you recommend with 6 quarts of spawn? Also, if you could add what temperature range your tubs are kept at that would be really helpful, and how much of a fluctuation there is between day/night temps. I had an awful lot of condensation build up in my tub which I think possibly made my moisture content too high, but I am not sure. I know I had some moisture issues with my first tub so I am still in the process of dialing in my grows. Any insight is GREATLY appreciated! I am planning on spawning tomorrow hopefully.

i use 5 qt's of water and 2 qts of verm per brick, room temp is fine and indoors ther isn't ever really too bad of temp swings, and if you do have these issues leave yoursel at least a half inch of excess liner, this will allow you to fold it on the sub so the condensation runs behind the liner and under your substrate, a little hole drilled in the bottom corner is handy for that

Alright cool, I think ill go with 5 quarts on this next tub with 1 brick and 2 quarts of verm. Good idea on the liner over the edges, ill try that too. I do keep my tub indoors, but its in a closet which has weird/weaker insulation (not like the rest of the house), so the temps in there do get rather cold at night as opposed to my room. I might try just under 5 quarts as I'd rather have it a little dry and too wet.

nice tip on drilling the hole iv'e been having to dump the standing water in the bottem by holding in the sub and tilting... no more crushing pins holding the sub in while i drain it thanks

Although the hole is a great idea that I know would work, I think I am going to rely on draining it myself. I just would rather not have leaking water in the area where I keep the tubs. Thanks for the idea though
