Mazatapec Coir Tray Help

I am hoping to get some input on my buddy's trays. Here is the skinny:
Strain: Mazatapec Substrate: BRF cakes spawned at 1:2 ratio to coir/verm/coffee/gypsum. Followed bucket tek but Did NOT pasteurize as he didn't know any better at the time
Upon peeking at day 10 of spawn run, he noticed both thick, fan-like aerial myc and cobweb. Cobweb was sprayed with H202 a couple times over 24 hours before fruiting the following day (pins popped up) and hasn't come back.
Here is the first tray
And the second
Is the aerial myc caused by CO2 buildup during colonization coupled with genetics or might it be bacteria as he has read in other posts? He said they smell fine, like fungi, and are fruiting fairly well as you can see. The second tray actually has hundreds of knots forming but are still small.
If it is bacteria (and again there are no signs of it as far as he can tell), are these fruits safe to consume/share with loved ones?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, this seems like a great community with tons of invaluable information and good people.

I'd advise your friend to get a shroomery account.

bacteria rather than aerial mycelium I would say, it doesn't look particularly bad so enjoy getting lucky and getting fruits considering you used the bucket tek with coffee. I would leave coffee out even if you properly pasteurize it's just not worth it most people have deemed. Use coffee diluted with water for your grain soak and you'll get all the benefits coffee has to offer. Bacteria is probably why some of those fruits look all weird opening their veils so early and perhaps some oversaturation.

Dually noted, thanks again. The fanning growth does bruise blue, but yea a bunch of them are opening right off the bat.
So the one's in the pics are good to eat anyways? Any hope for future flushes or should these be cut and the trays tossed?

Looks like you have improper fruiting conditions or bacteria in your tub.
Did you follow your teks to a T private pile?

if you see mold toss otherwise let it go, if you can give it some natural direct sunlight everyday that might help too. You can eat those fruits just fine, ever fruit in nature is growing off of a contaminated substrate

Well I was doing the bucket tek but added coffee and gypsum not realizing coffee was risky and at the least needed to be pasteurized.
The water content was a little off too due to the added ingredients, added more to take it to FC maybe just over.
The first tray is in the SGFC at 95-100% humidity, the second is a 6QT dub tub with no hygrometer.
I'm still confused about bacteria though, is it dangerous enough to toss it all out? Shouldn't it smell? Please tell me she's gonna make it!!!
First grow, live and learn I guess...

Sorry, missed your previous post.
I guess I'll let it run it's course then and keep an eye on it. I'll give updates later.

sometimes bacteria is not so abundant that you will smell it sometimes it smells sweet so it's hard to detect too. But usually if a bacterial tub colonizes it will fruit 1-2 flushes before mold sets in and then toss it.

No mold yet, but cut these just now
Bacterial blight or paranoia?
The little one has a stripe of it
Part of me wants to toss everything and start from scratch, but it's hard when I'm getting fruits. I'm kind of a perfectionist though; might give me piece of mind, especially since I might eat these and think, what have I done?!
I never realized there was so much to be keeping a look out for. Dirty little bacterias and their cheap tricks

you can eat fruits, every fruit in nature grows off of a contaminated substrate. If you had actual mold growing on your fruits then toss them but I've NEVER seen that happen. You don't need to wear gloves to touch your fruiting chamber, cakes, or shrooms.

Okay cool, thanks man. I just wasn't sure if the fruits could absorb any toxic byproducts from the sub or something.
They are beautiful aren't they. Can't wait for that special day, it's been many years since I've had communion

Dunked the first tray for an hour then flipped it...looks pretty healthy to be honest.
Who knows maybe I mistook the initial colonization for cobweb and fucked it up when I sprayed with H202. I'm now thinking that I didn't allow the surface to fully colonize at the time.
Thinking of trying some bubble wrap, it gets pretty dry in this room even with the sgfc (under 25% ambient humidity). Excited to see how this works out!

Lookin good brother man. I just spawned 1.25 quarts brf to 2.5 quarts coir/verm yesterday. Anxious to see how it turns out. How long did colonization take?

For me they were close at ten days but I anxiously sprayed h2o2 on "cobweb" then air dried them. Pins showed up the next day so about 12 days given the circumstances. Maz has been slooooow but I hear the wait is well worth it.
Good luck! Wish ya the best

An update on one of the cakes second flush...mutant from another planet.
Bad hair day?
I tossed the first tray that I took out of the tupperware and flipped. I checked the bottom (formerly the top) and there were tons of pins/fruits, but the old harvest sites were orange and gooey and the flesh of the fruits was orange and gross too. Smelled fine, but no thank you. Shouldn't have flipped it.
Second tray is showing tons of new pins An update on that later.
