I could get you some black morel spores. They're notoriously hard to cultivate, I could offer some suggestions.

Your idea of spraying a spore solution is good but not in areas they already grow. Introduce them to a new location. Where in Canada are you?

We have a west coast half free and it germinated in like 36 hours!

I got sclerotia on agar with blacks but never in grain or seed.

I need to take on the challenge again.

I am after Morchella importuna this time.

Thats what i did with cali blacks and my local blondes but neither formed stones. Its not as cut and dry but I wouldnt mind trying again.

2 to 4 days til i go on my first morel harvest. I'm in the PNW, they're second season burn morels, so black.
