great pics all round people Congrats on the sub finds anon_18 look like some meaty subs
Zed240, Got a great little patch of porcini's there. Is the porcini right at the bottom of the photo toward the right side? Here's a pic of what I found a few seasons ago. Possibly B. Edulis but never formally identified.
The super cool blue mushroom is mycena interrupta. Brilliant find! Don't often run into these little guys but remember the first time I found them I thought they were 100% psilocybin

Hello all, noobie here, went out to random areas over the weekend for the first time, saw some sweet stuff, nothing great which leads me to believe I'm not looking good enough/deep enough into the hills. only got two decent pics.

Hello Sausages
Lol
Yes, you guys have superb pics of superb finds! Olive your landscape pics are making me super nostalgic for the early morning starts in the hills my last job had.
Surprisingly there's nothing in the pines in my neck of the woods still - No lactarius, no amanitas, no boletes, no subs, zero fungus so far. Shouldn't be too long though! Though what I'm talking about is nothing like the plantations, anyway. At least I got some fresh air again this arvo.

Greetings all. I finally put some fresh batteries in the torches and went for a nightime hunt. The usual suspects are out, amanita's and boletus, plus A few lactarius which will be fried up for breakfast. Not much else though. I have also been getting a nice variety of fungi appearing in the garden. ID on the first pic anyone? Peace and happy hunting.

I'm a bit curious as to what the fruit body in the below pics is, this isn't a proper ID request but happy to hear thoughts. It's spore print was a dark yellow, found on dead pinus radiata stump.
Hmm, I don't think so. The spore print wasn't white, was definitely dark yellow. But I've still got a fruit body, I'll check if it glows in the dark later!
I would like to find Omphalotus nidiformis one day though.
It's been a long summer haha, I'd go with what TimmiT says more likely

Hi guys went out for a hunt only my 2nd season missed last year but back into it... I went to a old patch looked like people have been here but left some may have grown over the last few days. although they are not showing the bruising i am used to seeing a bit whitish under the gills. Similar shape to what I am expecting. Can any one I.D. for me thanks... let me know if the photos are too shitty they are taken from my phone. Im not 100% so i best to check before i wreck myself . Peace
I am hoping they are subs or some type of simular species to eat.
