That time of year again
    #19737084 - 03/23/14 03:32 PM (10 years, 8 days ago)

Here is a picture of one ms Orissa India started on 3/2/14

And here's one of my Sab

Gonna spawn the first jar to coir/Verm/gypsum or horse manure coir etc

Gonna go for 1:3 spawn to bulk in a 10 gallon monotub
This should give me roughly a 3" depth

Will update when spawned will be doing grain dunk and proper pasteurization

3/26/14 Tub was spawned  1:2 to Sterilized Coir/Verm

supplys and how jars was done and wbs prep

poly-fill coffee filters coffee grinder Cap-M-Quik Size 000 500 capsules Pressure cooker Dehydrator bird seed syringes and prints Agar packets Gypsum Still Air box

jars colonizing poly-fill lids covered with coffee filter and rubber band stored in Still Air Box to colonize

Wbs prep was Soak for 24 hours changing the water several times during this also had gypsum rinse some more simmer and then loaded into a wire-mesh window screen to steam dry the outside finished off with a little bit of blow drying =D

what would your opinion be on that and ill be picking me up a few mini rounds soon to drop a grain in a few/ clone

any does anybody know the potency life of vacuum sealed bags of shrooms
this is how im looking to go about long-term storage and need output on this

I think Frank is talking about dunking before G2G or spawning to a sterile sub like manure in a sterile environment

Dropping a colonized grain in a pp5 plate would not be a clone, but you could expect to have fairly isolated genetics which should show sectors quickly and could get a few isolates going faster.

oh well i didnt dunk

i know a grain to agar wouldn't be a clone i meant a clone as in taking inner pieces of stipes and dropping them on there

and only one isolate im in search of the stupid small stupid potent one hahaha  other then that i plan to do multispore agar to grain cause i love the fact you never know what will come big small different sizes and different potencys

and awesome so i should be good to store some for 4-5 years hopefully if not we will find out one way or another.
thank you!!!

Stay tuned updates coming daily

indeed your tub is flying along:thumbup:
for my cubes i'm just burrying subs from fresh subs to subs that have fruited once, add my inch or two of manure and cover it with yard debris till the weather warms up, pile enough leaves and i don't have to water it at all till it's time to fruit it, i do my pans in the same manner but i do this because i'm on the coast and the weather is super unpredictable so i colonize inside, my other species are a whole different ball game though

im gonna grain to grain the rest of the jars i got going right now in the still air box do as best i can as im gonna chunk them outside anyways might keep one or two to spawn some more tubs i got some shredded hpoo and 1 qt of coir/verm

but i was honestly gonna try something like that with straw/dirt/manure whatever i can get with some spawn/spent subs and cover with the yard debris like you said to keep from having to water mines at the same place  i keep my wood in the dry from the rain so i gotta manually water for the most part and i was hoping this would help with that this year

Just a few spots here and there
How many days would you give a tub like that before fruiting?
