nice! I like getting up into the mountains. found some cool stuff at Tallulah Gorge State Park a couple years ago (one of my first posts on here I think)... but I'm south of ATL right now. Different ecosystem up here- loblolly pines, white oaks, and swamp chestnut oaks. And cold as shit lol.
Found some cool reishi today tho, and I thought I found A. muscaria, but it turned out to be something very similar.
FL thread has seriously dropped off though... We're missing a lot of folks who made this thread more exciting

I'd be very interested to speak to anyone in the Pcola area who focuses on medicinal / edible cultivation. If that fits any of you, hit me up via PM.

P. cubensis and P. cyanescens will, yes. I've documented them pretty much every month of the year in south FL, but I noticed the heaviest fruiting occurs during late summer and early fall when the weather is consistent in their favor.

I don't think that means too much... it's all relative but depends on many factors with unforeseen variables depending on location, etc.

Go into a cattle pasture after it rains and walk until you find mushrooms that bruise blue and grow on dung.
