Maybe Enoki? pretty small and They seem to be more CO2 tolerant than oysters are from what I've seen on here. Oysters would probably go leggy in a mono and are kinda big for pf tek anyway. Seen some shiitake pf grows but they don't seem very worth the effort in my view. In general If you are set on using pf tek yields will be relatively low and you need enough to eat or there is not much point to doing it. Especially considering the amount of work put in.

Then by all means try some edibles on the pftek, you might just get addicted I've seen a couple really nice pftek grows lately, one with shiitake and one with pink oysters.

No prob! Pinks would be great temperature-wise alongside the cubes that you're not growing as well
Keep in mind that is a pretty exceptional grow he did in that link, it's really hard to get oysters enough air to look like that.
Shiitake might be easier and won't need as much air, although it will take longer.

It sure is, I was addicted after seeing my first oyster pins (even though I dried them up and killed them soon after )
Let us know how your grow goes!

.... ...yeah ignore my suggestion of enokis for this since they like cool temps . don't know how I kinda overlooked the whole point of the post in answering lol.
Wow, didn't think oysters could get that big of PF cakes... I wonder how many times a day he fanned that tub

Haha, it'd still be damn cool to see enoki done that way, I bet you could do really well if you kept the temps down. Tons of tiny mushrooms!
I'm not sure if he said in the thread but I almost think you could just leave the lid off the SGFC and mist more if you're not in the sahara desert (or Maine in the winter).
