Many herbs are listed as containing thujone. In the quantities present in most of these herbs the effect would be unnoticeable unless an impractical amount was taken. Save the Yarrow for smoking when you have bronchial problems. That DOES work. Thujone is not a very interesting compund to me, and many others find it nearly useless unless feeling "weird" and uncomfortable are your bag. (I'm sure they're not). Could not reference anything for an exacting measure of thujone content info- just thought you should hear it before you took lots of time to discover- it doesn't have enough.

There is some evidence that thujone binds to the same receptor sites as THC. So if you don't like being high on pot, don't try it.

On the other hand..

Nothing like pot Jellric. Nothing like anything but thujone. And that's not much. "Binds to the same receptor sites" only refers to how it is recieved- not what it is or how it affects the individual who consumes it. "Euphoria" would be a fitting term- "Euphoria with a dose of queasy.

I've done some research on thujone and extraction of a hash-like substance from wormwood.

After speaking with a med student friend of mine, I decided to NOT try it. From what I was told, while thujones binds itself to the same receptors as THC, that is where the similarity ends. After that, it behaves more like sarin nerve gas, except that the damage caused by thujones is worse, as it causes tissue necrosis.

If you do decide to mess around with it, I advise caution...
