What are your holes like, tight on bottom, loose on top? That tub needs a lot of FAE (mycelium fuzz growing up stems, as well as long stems trying to escape CO2 near the surface of the substrate).

co2 does not sink, nor does it settle out of air.
Especially in a tub with a substrate that produces 10+ degrees of heat easily.
Co2 is denser than air, but only by a fraction, so it mixes evenly with the air.
Fuzzy feet can be a sign of needing more FAE, but can sometimes be genetic as well.
But it has nothing to do with co2 levels.

If it needs more FAE, it is because there is CO2 buildup in the tub.
However, it does not sink, as you have said. I'm not sure what you are trying to say here but lack of FAE has everything to do with CO2 buildup.

I didn't say it CO2 sinks but there is still high CO2 levels near the substrate that the fruits are trying to escape from.
The fuzzy feet are signs of needing more FAE, the long stems are from CO2 buildup...

I meant to say it had nothing to do with the co2 sinking....my bad....

Not really...
If co2 does not sink, and the substrate is constantly generating heat and humidity, which both rise, why would you think the co2 levels would be greater at substrate level?
If you had a ppm meter you would realize that the top of the tub had a higher level of co2 than the bottom.
So they are not trying to "escape " from the co2 at substrate level, they are just looking for less stale air period.

I meant high CO2 levels comparative to if you were to give proper FAE, not in relation to how much CO2 is in the tub and at what level

Nice. I can't believe you had jars colonize that fast after inoculation from a spore syringe. I've never had a spore syringe even show signs until about a week. Full colonization two weeks at best. Usually three weeks to a month and sometimes longer. What am I doing wrong? Lol
