Central valley California. White to tan-ish cap. Pink gills. Veil present. Bruises brown. Sporeprint is brown. Gills turned brown after a few hours of spore printing. Growing in a lawn from the roots of a tree. Not sure what the tree is may be sweat gum.
ya pink bottoms. i believe they are cultivated and sold similiar to A bisporus the regular butoon mushroom. i think under the name champignon. i like these wild quite a bit. they taste better than the cultivated ones IMO.
