That is a clear and vivid mutant shot, well done Timehole, it will be added to the Mutation section right now. Need more mutant pics, and if anyone has anything to add to the Information section, just PM me or type it here, all info is considered. (But I think Notahacker420 has most of it covered)

I've collected some more shots from RogerRabbit, some mutants and such, very useful.
RogerRabbit: I call these tentacle mutants:
A good shot for primordia/knots section:
Invitro pins for all:
Mutant Chantrelle (Cantharellus cibarius) mutant, growing right side up:

Using a set of microscopy pictures in RogerRabbits album I created an educational .GIF I enhanced the colors, and did some cropping then animated it, it's a complete visual of spore germination:
The hyphae exiting this spore are searching for the hyphae of another spore which germinated, when they meet they will 'mate' and then begin to create a mycelial network.
This is why it's best to NOT SHAKE a grain spawn jar after MS inoculation, the closer the spores are the higher the chance they will connect and mate. When you spread out the spores, it makes it harder and some of the spores will fail. Once you have 30% visual colonization, then it's time to shake the spawn.

Every time I look at this thread I see something neat, learn something, or am just entertained. I wish this was around a year ago. This should be required reading for all noobs.

Why is this not stickied? :P Anyway, searched for it enough now. Bookmarked for future reference. I am sure it will still be useful once I get passed the beginner stage too. Good work and keep it up.

Was going through some past research on actives and decided to share these.
[A few mutants cloned]
Baby Fatboy
For this monotub I took a small section of rhizo growth on a MS agar plate and made a transfer to agar plate. After the plate was 80% colonized I took 5 large sections of that plate and inoculated 5(1qt) rye jars. Multiple types of clusters and growth when fruiting. SUB-Coir/Gypsum/Vermiculite cased with Peat/Coir/Verm/Gypsum/Pellet Lime
Main choices for cloning from the tub.
[Myc bonding a few mushrooms together like plaster]
[Very shy mushroom mutant]
[A mushroom contaminated by Gay rabbit]
[A piece of colonized sub the size of tictac that stuck to the side of the tube fruiting]

... I guess I am misinformed once again...
I thought blue showed signs of high psilocybin content?...or does it mean weak flesh from bad genetics?
What is it? I'll correct my post... ._.

Bruising is the oxidation of phenols, not indicative of potency

Man, this thread just gets better and better! What great pics, and what a convenience to have it all so well organized in one place.
Props bro!

Well done Exiled, the first mutants looks like elephants. Can definitely use some of those.
Glad to hear that NB, it's got a ways to go, however.

All caught up with new mutants added, blue bruising cakes added, and new pin shots added.
Also just took these blue oysters shots, fruiting from jars. My first time growing them, and was using them to test out a GH.

Actually I have them near a window, and this is the only time of year I can successfully grow them. I am in FL, and the temps throughout the year are always hot. But right now my fruiting room stays about 64-68F, they are really enjoying it, it seems. {I've tried fruiting them at 75F+ and they won't do shit)
Edit: In your sig, how did a ladybug get into your monotub? That is an awesome picture. But the cubes look to be stretching for fresh air.
