i just want to say that i never could get into jam bands, BUT i actually like this quite a bit. i think your friends band has some serious potential! are they based in nyc by any chance?

I am a HUGE Phish fan and half of this sounds like one giant huge Phish rip off.
Mabel sounds like a giant Cross Eyed and Painless rip off
No offense but its offensive to me.
They are good, no doubt about it I like the more original sounding ones, they do jam very well.

Hey now. Not a ripoff, but an homage. Just chill. And they're a little more electronic in some ways. More like The Disco Biscuits and Phish had a baby.

I can't for the life of me remember where exactly but I've actually seen these guys play before in the NY area. I didn't remember to check out their music afterwards but I do remember enjoying myself.
