Is my jar ok?

So I started a jar with the popcorn tek. I used an lc to inoculate. I am seeing growth but I want to make sure its actually mycellium. I tried to get a picture but my crappy camera wont get a sharp enough picture to really see anything so I will try to describe it to you. Its white like it should be but its really fuzzy is this normal. there is a lot of fuzzy strands stretching out and the growth isn't very thick.Does this sound ok?

Dude we need a pic if you want is to see what exactly is going on. If you say there are fuzz white strands stretching out that sound like myc to me. if starts to change color then its a contam but if it stays white its ok. Also make sure you know what cobweb looks like, it throws a lot of new growers off. It's a slightly gray looks really fuzzy and grows fast.

Its Mycellium or cobweb but without a good pic we can't really answer....

Keep an eye on it for a few days and see what it does. Thin and wispy isn't good though. How long ago did you inoculate? From spores or LC?

Keep an eye on it, considering the time frame though, I think cobweb is a possibility. You might just have some early germinating spores, but not likely.

yeah definitely monitor it. Youll know in a day or two. If it's cobweb it's gonna grow really fast and its gonna look like really thin hairs like that. Thing is it also looks like germinating spores. If it's cubensis myc it will start forming a solid white circular patch and then you mights start seeing thick rope like strands stretching out.
