They are growing port off control all in my front yard around pine trees. I don't want then to go to waste if they see active mushooms. Are they psychedelic.& how should I care for them?

Let them grow until the cap opens and they drop spores.

In your own front yard?!  Lucky!  Let them mature and pick them after they open (but before the caps start turning upward like a cup).  Maybe leave a couple to drop spores.

Post some pics of them all too!

It's insane, a week and a half ago it was the honey mushrooms blowing up the forum, now it's east coast amanitas.  I'm starting to sense a pattern.

Check them for creepy crawlies, I've found dozens of A. Muscaria infested with little white maggots, really nasty looking, usually in older specimens, not something I'd like to eat though.

Nice finds, they are a very attractive fungus.

I've found them in other mushrooms b4. I'm sure they'll have them.

Does any one have any good tips on drying these after I pick them? They are way bigger then anything I ever found b4. I checked the sarees of the pics I took last year in the same spot and they were from sept 31. Its pretty crazy they came back almost exactly a year later.
