Cloves in a joint...?

I had smoked a clove cigarette the other day, i think it was "djarum black". Basically, a cig wit clove sprinkled in it. I thought it tasted really good
I got the idea to try sprinkling about 30% of the joint with clove. It was probably the best tasting joint I have ever smoked. I got noticably higher, but I'm thinking that is probably placebo. I also didn't cough at all which is pretty weird. Either way it is something I highly reccomend
The next time I get my hands on some , which is soon hopefully, imma sprinkle some on top to help that nasty taste

Sounds awesome, and from what I've noticed over the years is that when nicotine is mixed in with weed in a spliff it gets me higher a lot faster.

The extra high was probably deprivation of oxygen (via smoke inhaltion). Cloves are notorious for making people light headed

I don't think tobacco really gets you much higher. I think the nicotine buzz adds an wakefulness to the high though. Each to his own though

I noticed that the clove cigs give me a fatter buzz and feel easier on my throat than normal ones. Tbh, I don't really bother with normal stoges, but I actually really like these clove ones. I searched it up, the cloves surpress the gag reflex so you don't cough. Sounds perfect for deem smoking
Is it bad for your health at all?

Oh yes, I read somewhere that a clove cigarette has like 70% more tar than a regular stogee.

I just use american spirits or some hand rolling tobacco for spliffies. Hate the taste and smell of cloves

In the new world of growers and buyers wanting the most potent of the danks; this doesn't seem appealing. I could understand if the weed you own is low potency or taste bad; and you want to make it taste better. I just think those that have the dank, wouldn't want to mix anything in it.
Just my opinion though.

I'm just gonna throw this out there--- you must be trying to cover up the taste of the clove... the bud I smoke taste fuckin great!!! Fruity, nutty, menthol, berry like, fuely, skunky and all kinds of funky... maybe you just need better weed.

I rolled one joint with 50/50 clove/dank the other with 70/30 dank/clove
The first one tasted nasty and I only kept smoking cuz of the bud inside and I didn't wanna waste it. I eventually threw it away. It was too much
The second one was a lot better. It adds a whole new dimension to the weed taste and crackles a little bit. It also numbs ur mouth and lets you take in a lot more smoke without coughing.
Different stroke for different folks. I guess some people might not enjoy it as much as I do, but each to his own. Just saying, it is worth a try

Well I used to smoke nothing but spliffs of dank for like 4 years. I finally started just using my bowl to save weed but.....in a world of free weed, I would only smoke joints with a hint of tobacco in them. It gives a bite to the joint idk how to explain it, but I love it

Yeah I keep forgetting that a lot smoke weed with tobacco. Euro's mainly. With that in mind, I would rather smoke it in a clove than tobacco.

I thought people don't smoke weed at all in the south?
Never say anything weed-culture related in the south when I visited
Is it as culturally accepted as it is here in cali?

The extra high was probably from the unfiltered tobacco. Try smoking a bowl with kief sprinkled over just a bit of tobacco. I bet after one or two hits you won't be able to stand for awhile unless you have nicotine tolerance.

No. Just no. Don't smoke a clove. The tobacco companies make oil out of the cloves and spray it on the tobacco.
If your going to do something like this then do it right.
Also yes people smoke weed in the self. And no its not really as accepted as California. Or even New England.
And no there not all backwards thinking hicks. Its just a different way of thinking. More vintage American 1950s thinking.
Atleast when ive been down south. The south really is a nice place, Beer,Good food,Good people,Fireworks and Tobacco.

It's widely used here. I can get just as good of bud here as I can in cali but it's not accepted by any means. Even people who use it don't accept public use of it. And the lower quality pot is really hard to find and when you can find it the sellers are usually violent and will try to rip you off. Where I live the cops worry more about all the thievery, bar fights, drunk drivers, and meth. So if you keep it to yourself and don't advertise it, it's really hard to get caught.
