MOSES LAKE, Wash. -- A psilocybin mushroom growing operation was taken down by Moses Lake police during the weekend.
Grant County sheriff's deputies and Washington State Patrol troopers also helped served a warrant Sunday at a home in the 2000 block of South Division to search for drugs, authorities said.
The psilocybin mushroom grow was found inside the home.
Daniel R. Simpson, 25, was arrested and booked into the Grant County jail on suspicion of manufacturing illegal drugs.
Anyone with information about the grow operation can call Moses Lake police at 509-764-3877 or the dispatch center at 509-762-1160.

my family go up there EVERY year a couple days out of the year since i was three. I would've never thought shrooms were abundant there, nor would i ever see a story about a bust. And fuck me, my hometown wrote the article 
at least we try not to give them a false or bad rep.
