Using colonized poo from monotub to colonize poo

Would it work to cut out 2/3 of a colonized HPOO tub, break it up then use it to colonize another 2 tubs. Has anyone ever tried this before? Would it increase the risk of contams?

Tried something like this before, and it seemed like the Mycellium was too weak at that stage to effectively colonize the new substrate. Then again, my house was pretty moldy and had caused trich without fail on every grow attempted within. Not just my own, but room mates as well.

Are you making BRF cakes? Do you have a specific deadline? Because you should get a great yield with one tub, so I'd just stick with that for now. Especially if it's BRF - It'll be two and a half months until your next monotub is colonized if you started jars today.

Just let your current tub flush.
