 Purer dmt crystals

I wanna use the basic STB tek but i also wanna get some large chunky crystals. So here are a few theories/questions:
1. Leaving the naphta with lye solution longer will result in a large amount of alkaloids migrating to solvent, and as a result larger crystals.
2. Freezing at a higher temperature for a longer amount of time will result in more solid better crystals.
3. Is there anyway to change the chemical structure to make it so that its more like meth glass than this melty plastic shit?

Letting the naphtha sit won't make DMT migrate to it, the naphtha only picks it up when you mix the solution. Haven't tried using a higher temp all the way through, I've just put it in the freezer and switched to the fridge after a couple hours and continued switching.
If you want glass looking crystals your best bet is using bestine for recrystallization, it's not changing the chemical structure though. If you're going to use that for recrystallizing it, there's no reason to worry about the size of the initial crystals.

I agree with Frylock, for higher purity, you have to recrystalize. Doing it 2 or 3 times will yield you more and more translucent crystals. THEN if you want to grow big crystals, instead of freezing or fan drying, let the recrystallization solution sit at room temp for 1-3 days (depending on amount of spice to solution ratios.

Damn dwpineal, those are some of the best examples of dmt I've seen
So basically all you did was recrystalize(does it matter what solvent) multiple times, and allow to slowly evap at room temp?
Any chance for a link or description on the tek used for those?

The extra steps presented in a/b extract will help too. Usually your first pull is crystal white and gets darker with pulls. If you do all your pulls in a matter of days it will all be clean. And really white looks nice and all but that orange glass will really put you there!

I use the STB Tek. Here's a good pic of what my first pulls usually look like.
It's pretty clean, but i'd like to have glass crystals like above.

The above was done with several bestine recrystallizations, but there was no evaporating done. After a few recrystallizations, super-saturated bestine was put in a dish and covered with tin foil. Then that was allowed to sit at room temp for about 3 days. At the end the remaining solvent was poured off and evapped, but there is almost nothing at all left except a little residue, one could almost pour off the remaining solvent and dispose of it without concern of losing anything, but evapping to be sure is always a good practice...

I, just for once, got the same type of crystals like dwpineal's 3rd picture, in both size and looks, from a STB.
The trick to this is saturation and patience. It was a first pull, as later pulls with STB tend to be less clean, and was achieved by using a small amount of naptha, starting warm, and letting it sit at room temperature for at least a day, evaporating and saturating the naptha in the process.
The jar where it was in was not touched, nor moved, and had spend another half day in the fridge before moving to the freezer.
I think the bigger cystals form easier when it's not going from lukewarm->freezer, but it being a steady process;
instead of going from warm to cold in a short time, crashing the crystals out of the naptha because of the sudden change in temperature,
you give it time to mend and form much nicer structures?

I never understood the desire to make DMT into large crystals. I mean, sure, they're cool looking and all, but in the end its still just DMT. You gonna smoke it, or are you planning to enshrine a Schedule I substance under glass forever...Or maybe only until the Feds show up???

You can't deny those crystals look awesome as hell, it's easier to handle large crystals like that too anyway.
