It isn't the fact that he claims to have had premonitory dreams that I make the claim that he could be schizophrenic, and by the way, you will note that I urged him to see a professional rather than continuing to act on his impulses relating to this matter. Its his seeming lack of critical evaluation of his premonitions and his acting on them as if they were straight out of reality. Remember that the people who truly need help are the ones that don't think anything is wrong. I will not use the word crazy because I do not agree with the word, perhaps his mind is overly active and misfiring certain signals.
Here's the deal though brother, bluebell... you may THINK you told certain aspects of the dream to other people. They might even agree with you because they don't remember themselves if you told them to other people. Perhaps you made predictions from your dream that any sane person could have made. Regardless, at this time, you have to treat ALL of your memories as suspect. You don't know which ones are memories you are creating off of nothing vs. memories truly derived from reality. All in all, you need to get help very soon. Like I said, if only for the reason of not having to go through the trouble of the court process.

I don't get it. How is calling the cops gunna prove anything? Going to court and showing them the papers is going to prove what?
Your experience is not uncommon, read a little bit more on Dejavu and dreaming. It was stupid to incriminate yourself and waste everyones time.

My guess is you are a fairly chronic user of spice/K2, which is a common cause of psychosis, seizures and other mental conditions. There are other ways of proving a premention that doesnt involve the police. Besides, you're premonition was a self fulfilling one anyways. My advice is to seek professional help and to not try and convince the judge you saw the future as he may send you to the mental ward for proper evaluation.

hey mark.
just wanted to let you know that i understand your frustration, i think that's the best word to describe your feeling, while trying to portray your experience to family with their thoughts of implausibility.
however it helps, if you become upset because no one will give you the benefit of the doubt, just remember that there are people like me who believe you, and also experience things similar to what you are describing.
just try and stay calm and approach your situation in a selfless and positive manner and i think you'll be fine.
you don't HAVE to prove anything to your family, but acceptance from a family member, even if that acceptance means something as little as taking your word as your evidence, is very important, and it's nice to see that you just want to do things the right way.
i'm guessing you're excited, frustrated, discouraged, and motivated all at the same time.
like i said, just stay calm and do your best, that's all you got.

please don't get frustrated with the fullness of our range of opinions.
Personally, I've seen some pretty crazy shit. My brother and i saw something at the same time sober and logical that our mother refused to see. I was yelling at her "holy shit look at that!" and she started telling me i was psychotic and i needed mental help, my brother just started laughing, because my mother wouldn't in 15 minutes physically turn her head 160 degrees to look at what i was talking about. Even though she said i was psychotic she never mentioned the incident again. my brother remembers it perfectly just as i do.
People's brains do really weird shit. thats just one example of me learning the hard way that there is things beyond ken, and some people won't let stuff like that into their reality, no matter the immediacy of it.
If you really did have a premonition about the future, its possible that nothing will change your families mind.
