Check it out! There were still more that were too small to pick and it rained like crazy today. More will be had.

The stipe helps separate Macrolepiota from Chlorophyllum. The spore colour will tell whether it's C. molybdites

Yeah the stipe is what really got me wondering. Those two Chlorophyllum I found didn't have the snake skin look to them. I picked them when they were large. The gills were white, then salmon colored. By the time I gr home from work... Nasty ass green

I'd like to find C. molybdites one day. They don't grow in my neck of the woods.
