Advice on getting a relationship going

So, I have hardly dated, but there is this girl I've been going to school with for the last year. There are tons of school events and we see each other all the time, but really didn't think of dating her. Over the summer, we happened to be in the same city far away from school, we started hanging out more, but still amongst her friends or my friends. She had made comments like "wouldn't it be funny if told our classmates that we were dating" or hinting that I should share the bed with her when there were 5 of us sharing a 2 bed suite(she was drunk, so I decided to sleep on the pullout couch)
Fast forward to labor day weekend, I had already spent Thursday-Saturday going out at 11am and socializing all day, not getting home until 3am-4am in the morning those 3 days. I was hoping to see her on Sunday at a friend's bbq, but she couldn't make it for non-related reasons. So, I was texting her, and she invited me over for a beer.
We both had a beer, but she said that she had drunk a bottle of wine at her friend's place, but she didn't seem like she was drunk. Shortly after, I had my arm around her, holding hands and she was snuggling while watching random stuff. It was now early morning and I was dead tired, haven't showered in over a day, and I went back home. I had no good reason to leave and I wasn't sure where exactly it was going, but haven't really talked to her since that night. Seen her everyday since then on campus, but thinking back, I should have let her know that I had a great time, we should do that more often, etc.
Here I am, not even 3 days later, and I'd like it to be more serious. Should I call her and tell her that?
Thanks.

Ask her if she would like to go out for dinner. But good job on not sleeping with her when she was drunk.

Not talking to her for a few days isn't that big of a deal. Just tell her you've been busy and have been wanting to talk to her, and that you had a good time last time, and that you'd like to go do something and catch some dinner and a beer (or wine, or whatever). If she likes you she'll gladly accept, or maybe she is busy, who knows.
Don't ask her to be your girlfriend over the phone though. That is just bad.

Yea sounds like you gave a horrible message to her inadvertently. If I were her (I'm a dude but it still applies) I would totally think I did something to offend you or something. Snuggling on a couch and then seeing that person every day and having them not talk to you makes it seem like they didn't really think anything of it
However, on the other hand you have the chance to seem cool and aloof which is almost always a good thing. I wouldn't specifically say you had a good time, just return the favor of inviting her over for a beer or something and let the evening go the way it goes

I DEFINITELY take it back that it's easy. I don't know your situation or anything. I'm having the same trouble and it's a really weird chick that i am absolutely love struck for. I often forget that humans have feelings and emotions.

You were cuddling all night with a 'drunk' chick and you didn't even kiss her? Dude. Dude, come on. Make a move already. Call her, hang out. Don't just tell her- make it more serious.
