Why do I always forget the details of all my trips. I go on 2 year psychedelic trip, take a break and I have forgotten what made some of them so memorable. I remember the lesson learned but don't remember how I learned them. Does this happen to any one else?

I usually can't remember a lot from my trips, especially with shrooms. I've always wanted to tape a recorder on me HST style so I can remember all of the crazy things I might think/say without having to write.
