 Getting weird anxiety from new strain of Kratom I got....

I recentaly ordered an ounce? of "green vein thai" Kratom, touted by the vendor to have "superior alkaloid content than that of bali".
It definitely appears to be true because I took two small spoonfuls the other day and got really edgy, anxious and accompanying feelings of short breath.
I now only take one or so with similar results.
Initially I feel nice but it wears off quickly and becomes uncomfortable... It almost turns me off of Kratom as an anxiety remedy.
Not very opiate like at all and not like other kratom i've tried.
What can anybody make of this? Similar experiences with different "strains"?

Kratom at lower doses is a stimulant, isn't it?

Yeah I suppose however I've tried other Kratom at lower doses and had no problems at all. I'm not too inclined to down even more of the product to see if it has a reverse effect.
I suspect that there is a higher concentration of some other chemical in there that is responsible.
I'm getting the impression that this is an odd post... And might be in the wrong place? just thought it was weird.

Well, there's a lot of different kratom out there, so it probably all doesn't feel the same 
I on the other hand, am feeling great with my kratom!!!!

I've used Kratom for almost two years, tons of different strains, and this sounds like it was laced with something. Some vendors are known to mix it with bath salts, particularly o-desmethyltramadol, as well as caffeine. Kratom usually helps with anxiety... some energetic strains can make it worse I think, but physical symptoms like that seem pretty unusual.
Would you mind saying who this stuff came from? (is that against the rules?)

This vendor is not a sponsor and I can't mention them, but I have ordered good Kratom from them before. 
But who knows! Bath salts? I've read about the o-desmethyltramadol, is that a bath salt?? Tramadol was always nice...
And sanchothestoner, ... But you're probably right.
I am hoping my Kratom tree does not come to grace me with a product of this quality...

I'm not entirely sure... red vein something. It's good though!!! 600mg pills, and I took 10 and some weed!

Nice For me the two counteracted together. 
I also find it more enjoyable to wash down pure powder without the gelatin caps. Something you may want to investigate, I hate the feeling of 10 gelatin capsules in my stomach, acts much quicker.

Each to his own! I like this feeling, but I don't think it's that great. I'll probably go through the 2 oz. and not do it again.
