It gets hazy when the youth start wanting to make adult decisions. But a 22 year old should know better. If she's worth going to jail for she's worth waiting a year for.

Age of consent in some states is as low as 16.
I'd still be pretty apprehensive about the whole thing. I wouldnt say it's totally sick and wrong depending on the specific case... but you should still watch your back. Even if the law doesn't get you an angry father might...

there are states where the general age of consent is 17. no matter how old you are its legal to fuck a 17 year old in some states. im sorry if some people are hung up on 18 being the legal age. in most states it is but there are entire states that disagree. im not saying its right but i am saying that there is at least room for debate on the issue.
for example in colorado general consent is 17. if your 16 you can consent up to age 26. and if your 15 you can consent up to age 19.
yeah she is 17 but fuck he is just 22. they are both still kids to some point. if he was 27 then gross but at 22 i cant have too much of a problem with it ( that being said if my 17 y.o. daughter brought home a 22 y.o. i would have a fit and there would most likely be some violence.)

I think this whole 18 thing is funny. On the 18th birthday a switch is suddenly flipped & people are magically able to think for themselves & make their own decisions.....but beforehand they can't?
I mean, a line has to be drawn somewhere, but the way it's done is kinda weird IMO.

I dated a 19 year old girl when I was 23. I should note that I was not the most mature 23 year old by any stretch of the imagination. Yet, the difference in maturity was obvious, especially when she was with her friends. The difference in years wasn't that much, but a lot of growth & change takes place in the early 20s. I didn't realize how much older I'd gotten until I dated her. .........and now I realize that I myself was still a kid then.  Maturity level is really important when it comes to relationships. If you're an adult, or trying to transition into being an adult, dating a teenager is counterproductive. Doesn't matter if they are 16 or 19. While there are exceptions to every rule, in general human development follows a pattern. It's not just learned behaviors either; the brain is still developing. There is a straight up physical/neurological difference. A difference that governs the way we think, act, and respond.
Follow your heart, but know & follow the law in your state......and understand what the difference between 17 & 22 really means.

Sure, everyone should look out for the wellbeing of the people they fuck, to some extent. But there's such a thing as personal choice, and that isn't necessarily associated with a particular age limit. No, a 17-year old fucking a 12-year old (also a 5 year age difference) isn't ok, obviously. But 17 and 22, I mean, apart from the legal aspect, that isn't necessarily wrong in my mind. Is it very wise or sensible, given the possible legal ramifications? No. Is it morally wrong? Not per se.

there's only a few states where where 18 is the age of consent, many are 17 and a few are 16
it wasnt long ago that 13 and 14 was marriage age in the US, in some states 14
still is with the consent of the parents.

The only thing stopping me in that situation would be if she's going to get mad at you and charge you with statutary rape. However, from my experience with a 17 year old there was never that issue. It was actually the tightest pussy/best sex I've ever had. I say go for it man, and never look back.
In these types of situations its best to not over think things especially if the chick is begging you to rail her. The rewards most definately outweigh the potential consequences that have a less than 1% chance of happening in the first place. Unless her father is a cop/lawyer, then I'd be worried.
