What Agaricus sp. is this?

Need help with these they are still very immature and not sure if its the right ID. They were growing right under what I believe is a bishop pine. It wasn't possible to get a print because the gills weren't present so instead I cut the bigger mushroom in half. The gills were very close to each other, free, and super white with no sign of the going pink. Also when I cut the mushroom the base turned orangish but the rest of the cap and parts of the stem quickly stained yellow, not bright though. In addition I took a cross section of the cap and put it under the microscope, sadly I couldn't find any pictures of basidia to compare this too, also I saw no spores since they haven't started being produced. My two guesses are either A. augustus or A. subrutilescens. some things don't seem right though, the season doesn't seem right for subrutlescens and I'm not sure if augustus grows under bishop pine. Any ideas?

I left 4 others back at the patch to see them as they mature. But as I walked back from work today they haven't changed much in the past 24 hours, probably because of low moisture.

It's probably one that Rick Kerrigan is calling species N., it doesn't have a name yet, but it's closely related to Augustus and grows on the east coast. Go back and check that spot, once they start fruiting they keep coming back as long as it stays wet enough and it doesn't get too cold.

If you do an image search for Agaricus subrufescens, a lot of pictures will turn up with orange scales, they are probably not subrufescens, but Augustus or species N, depending where you stand on the taxonomy. They are somewhat smaller than augustus but in every other repect they resemble them, and they aren't rufescent. I was calling them Agaricus subrufescens when I first found them, because initially I put a lot of trust in the pictures that turn up on an image search.

Thank you all for the help. I just think it's really funny that I've been looking for this mushroom in the redwood forests and haven't found it until I spotted 5 of them under a bishop pine in my apartments parking structure. Its great to know I have my own patch now! The three I left stopped growing and they were rotting the next morning. It's definitely augustus because I live on the west coast. Then again I've never heard of a species N but I'm very interested. Can someone send me a link with some info?

Naw can't find a link, heard kerrigan talk once and he mentioned it, he's supposed to write a book on Agaricus sometime and it will be in it, but when is anybodies guess. shouldn't have assumed you were from South Carolina when your location was SC.
