Its up to him. I ask him when KP first changed the time if he wanted his spot back and he said no. Considering he won last year (i think anyway) he probably should defend his title.

The feeling is mutual. I have done everything possible to try and accomidate 12 different peoples' schedules. The league draft date and time has been set for over a month; if you waited until 2 days prior to the draft to confirm the time, then that is your own stupidity. It was discussed when it was originally set and everyone seemed to be good with it (I heard no objections), then you want to come blast me as if it is my fault.
It's Fantasy Football, geez.
Draft is Sunday afternoon on September 2nd, 3 days prior to opening game, and a week before opening weekend. I truly hope this works for majority of players.
Zappa, if you want to continue to point fingers and dont want to defend your title, I am not going to beg you. I have done absolutely everything in my power to help make this work for everyone by allowing 2 more weeks to prepare and make arrangements for a new draft time.

That's what I was thinking.
I was a little worried about it being so close to start of season, but no one here really does trades anyways. Waiver wire should be open just prior to that first game, if not right after.

I appreciate the acolades, Zappa. Ultimately I believe I speak for a lot of people here when I say we really like your presence in the league. It has been a great benefit and you are a supremely competent fantasy football owner.
Its not my goal (or decision) to force KP into giving me the comish seat. I do agree that there are some issues which you have brought up that make people a little nervous about KPs capacity as comish (and Kp, I mean no offense to you. I had a period in my life that lasted two years that were VERY volatile). I have some reservations but he has been comish for a long time of a supremely active and fun league. While I am personally ok with being comish, I wouldn't do it unless he voluntarily handed it over.
My number one concern is making sure this league stays together and goes strong. I have been in a lot of leagues and this has been one of the best, period.

The best way to keep it strong is to get rid of the commissioner. He isn't physically, intellectually or emotionally equipped for a leadership position. I would love to put this up for a vote of the people who matter in the league, i.e. the players. I can see no reason why KP should get to anoint himself. It isn't that difficult. Except for him. Because he is
