Thanks for the info Teknix

I listened to the solfeggio harmonics but didn't feel anything. Are you sure that is a good test for calcification of the pineal gland? Are there any other ways to test or scan for it that you know of?

And what else can be done to remove the calcification besides a metal detox? I have already done a chlorella detox over the course of a month or so, but is that enough do you think? Should I do it more than once?

And how the hell do you know whether or not you are "activating your 3rd eye"?? What does that mean exactly?

Better make an argument or this will probably be closed per rule 3.

This crap reads like a who's who of bullshit arguments:

1.  The "poison" label: dose makes the poison, every medicine and water itself has poisonous effects.

2.  Hazardous waste regulated by the EPA: ordinary table salt is regulated by the EPA too, does that make it bad?  Your blood is hazardous- does that make it bad?

3.  Causes cancer: everything causes cancer.  Without exposure data, that's a meaningless claim.  Water will cause DNA damage too, so what?

The prime argument is the picture itself. Just trying to find out if people on this forum think it's legit or not. And I posted it in the spirituality forum because people here are probably more familiar with the pineal gland than those in say, the conspiracy forum, as it is believed by many to be the "seat of the soul", and speculated to be the organ in the brain that produces the chemical that may cause us to dream. If it is completely coated in a substance unnatural to the body, don't you think that might cause some sort of problem for people?

Honestly, I believe what Rick Strassman has to say about it, I think it either produces or stores DMT in the brain, and releases it at night when we sleep and during times of great stress, including birth and death. And there has got to be something more to the pineal gland than just simple chemical production and storage, why the hell else would it have a lens, cornea, retina, and be sensitive to light?!

"Curiously, this gland is light sensitive and actually has a lens, cornea, and retina." - Dr. Rick Strassman

Either it actually is the mind's eye, our third eye.. or an early evolutionary formation of an actual third eye that is due to appear on the back of our heads in the distant future

What seems more likely?

EDIT: Actually I'm not sure whether or not the human pineal gland has a lens and cornea... Can anyone confirm this? I have heard for sure that there is a lens and a cornea in the pineal of reptiles and amphibians though.

Also here are some excepts from the Flouride/Pineal Gland study that was quoted on the wikipedia page:

"Fluoride does not accumulate in the brain. Of all tissues, brain has the lowest fluoride concentration [Jenkins, 1991; Whitford, 1996; Ekstrand, 1996]. It is generally agreed that the blood-brain barrier restricts the passage of fluoride into the central nervous system. The human pineal gland is outside the blood-brain barrier [Arendt, 1995]. It is one of a few unique regions in the brain (all midline structures bordering the third and fourth ventricles) where the blood-brain barrier is weak. Cells in these regions require direct and unimpeded contact with blood [Rapoport, 1976]. Therefore, pinealocytes have free access to fluoride in the bloodstream. This fact, coupled with the presence of HA, suggest that the pineal gland may sequester fluoride from the bloodstream."

AND:

"In conclusion, this study presented evidence that fluoride readily accumulates in the aged pineal. Fluoride may also accumulate in a child's pineal because significant amounts of calcification have been demonstrated in the pineals from young children [Cooper, 1932; Wurtman, 1968; Kerényi and Sarkar, 1968; Tapp and Huxley, 197 1; Doskocil, 1984]. In fact, calcification of the developing enamel organs and the pineal gland occur concurrently. If fluoride does accumulate in the child's pineal (this needs verification), the pinealocytes will be exposed to relatively high local concentrations of fluoride. This could affect pineal metabolism in much the same way that high local concentrations of fluoride in the developing enamel organ affect ameloblast function. Research is presently underway to discover whether fluoride affects pineal physiology during childhood: specifically pineal synthesis of melatonin."

I was going through them before I did detox and felt pressure, So I don't know how good of test it is considering the subjectivity, that's why I said experiment.

Now It is just a tingling sensation around the pituitary-pineal axis without the pressure. I had third eye tingling before that, it was just full of pressure and felt foggier. It felt like a veil of fog lifted when I detoxed.

Interesting.. What kind of detox did you use? Do you have a link to it by chance?

Might do another one just to be safe :uhoh:

I just use chlorella and cilantro extract with some Jcrows. I take it pretty regularly still because of the health benefits.

The hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPA or HTPA axis), also known as the limbic-hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (LHPA axis) and, occasionally, as the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-gonadotropic axis, is a complex set of direct influences and feedback interactions among the hypothalamus, the pituitary gland (a pea-shaped structure located below the hypothalamus), and the adrenal (also called "suprarenal") glands (small, conical organs on top of the kidneys).

The interactions among these organs constitute the HPA axis, a major part of the neuroendocrine system that controls reactions to stress and regulates many body processes, including digestion, the immune system, mood and emotions, sexuality, and energy storage and expenditure. A wide variety of species, from the most ancient organisms to humans, share components of the HPA axis[citation needed]. It is the common mechanism for interactions among glands, hormones, and parts of the midbrain that mediate the general adaptation syndrome (GAS)[1].

Some more interesting pineal gland info:

"The tuatara has a third eye on the top of its head called the parietal eye. It has its own lens, cornea, retina with rod-like structures, and degenerated nerve connection to the brain, suggesting it evolved from a real eye. The parietal eye is only visible in hatchlings, which have a translucent patch at the top centre of the skull. After four to six months, it becomes covered with opaque scales and pigment.[13] Its purpose is unknown, but it may be useful in absorbing ultraviolet rays to manufacture vitamin D,[7] as well as to determine light/dark cycles, and help with thermoregulation.[13] Of all extant tetrapods, the parietal eye is most pronounced in the tuatara. It is part of the pineal complex, another part of which is the pineal gland, which in tuatara secretes melatonin at night.[13] Some salamanders have been shown to use their pineal bodies to perceive polarised light, and thus determine the position of the sun, even under cloud cover, aiding navigation."

Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuatara#Sensory_organs

Here are some animals where you can actually see the 3rd "parietal eye" on the top of the head.

Dorsal view of the head of an Anolis carolinensis clearly showing the parietal eye:

The parietal eye (and two regular eyes) of a juvenile bullfrog (Rana catesbeiana):

No need to worry to much about certain things. As long as you can understand, some people are just lost. Understand where you're living and why. The human race has come very far, regardless of human experiments etc. Just give love where ever you go, that is all. Love like you have never loved before.

I admit that towards the end of my summer vacation, I dissolved 1/4 tsp. some sodium hexaborate in a bottle of Syfo® seltzer, and drank it over 3 days. No noticeable effect (like diarrhea), but, summer ended, and I chose not to continue this endeavor at the work site. Maybe next year, when I turn 60 and my pineal is really crusty.
