hi i have a question for those of you with a few successfull runs under your belt and are using or have used a still air box.
how wet is your box?
i have been wiping my box down with soapy water then once i start adding equipment i spray bleachwater 1/10 with a spray bottle everytime i lift the flap to put more equipment or my arms in. is this excessive?? obviously i am having a hard time sticking micropore tape to my Agar plates etc. oh and so far none of my agar plates has contams after 3 days so gave them a drink of some spores water and hope to see some fluffy myc in the next few days to a week...

What you're doing sounds good. Your SAB has to be wet in order to catch any gems and germs and let them fall to the ground, where they don't hurt. Bleach water is also an excellent choice.
The only problem I generally experience with that setup is the difficulty of grabbing everything in such a humid environment, especially when it is made out of glas or metal.
Here is some advice for you: Don't use micropore tape for agar plates. It's way too expensive for this. Use saran wrap.
When I do agar work I usually lift off the box after everything is done, get a clean tissue or towel and carefully wipe the plates with it making sure not to open them during the process. They don't have to be totally clean from the outside. Just do this and then put some saran wrap around them. It works very well.

Agar will show contams quickly. Bacteria often in 24-48 hours.
(I don't let my SAB be 'wet', though. I wipe it with a damp clth, load it, let the air settle)

You can use soap if there's dirt, but just a moist cloth is fine for dust, etc. People misunderstand what the box is doing, you'll see people trying to sterilize the insides of SABs. But since you aren't laying your exposed grains out in the bottom of the box, that doesn't matter. What's important is what the name says- still air.

Back when I used a SAB, I liked to line the bottom with paper towels that were wet with alcohol (soaked at first, then let them dry a bit during the 10-15 minutes you wait for the air to settle), and I'd leave the walls pretty wet. Any extra water from the walls would fall down onto the paper towels, and you have a pretty damn clean floor to set your tools on if need be.
