There are no honest cops because they all know about the bad cops who abuse power, yet these good ones never speak up against the bad ones. Police are a form of social control that the wealthy use to maintain the status quo. Compare the way the police around the country treated the occupy people, then consider how the police treated the wall street bankers who ripped off the entire country.
I was profiled, targeted and entrapped by a cop. It's like getting punked and raped at the same time. And many "good cops" witnessed and did nothing except act embarrassed and look the other way. Ask a "driving while black person" about the good cops.

Actually there are many examples of gangs stepping in to help the locals, like the Yakuza after the Japan tsunamis and drug kingpins in Rio de Janeiro refusing to traffic in crack after seeing the damage it did to the community. Not trying to glorify or justify gangs here, just highlighting the fact that there is more to human nature than selfishness.

actually you're wrong, there are good cops, there's plenty of them that are decent hard working people just trying to make the best of a job, there's cops that could have the complementary meals in many restaurants but dont because of their own ethics and those same cops have no problem coming forward when they see one of their 'brethren' breaking the laws

both statements are nonsense, many people claim to have been entrapped but entrapment requires specifics just as the 'driving while black' is often claimed by racist/race baiting blacks. getting pulled over for a bullshit reason happens to all races, blacks are stopped at the same rate as whites bu are often searched at a much higher rate and why is that? "rollin down the street smokin' endo and sippin' on gin and juice" ring any bells? "is that marijuana I smell? I need you to step out of the car"

This is total bullshit and you know it (never heard of LEAP?). Seriously prove that not a single cop out of the thousands and thousands of them are honest(and that ranges from street officers to detectives and so on). You shred your credibility by claiming such nonsense...smh...
And to the poster below who I quoted, you are absolutely correct about gangs. They will step in when needed, yet those times are few and far between. A recent example was in the Shroomery news actually, with the certain neighborhood gangs/dealers(?) refusing to allow crack to be sold in their neighborhoods because they realize the shit that it brings down on their town. But that is but a handful of examples when gangs are useful.
