Man ‘Butt-Dials’ 911 During Drug Deal
Police dispatchers are no strangers to accidental calls, although usually these “butt dials” reveal little more than muffled, innocuous chatter, broadcast from the pocket of an innocent civilian. But when a 24-year-old Pennsylvania man accidentally called the police from his pocket Wednesday, the operator overheard and recorded the entire conversation. One he was having with his drug dealer.
Justin Kryzanowski now faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and prohibited offensive weapons, the Scranton Times-Tribune reports. After listening as the drug deal went down, police traced Kryzanowski’s cell phone back to his residence in Scranton, Penn., where they found various prescription medications, drug paraphernalia, brass knuckles and syringes loaded with Suboxone, a medication used to treat opioid addiction.
Police also found the cellphone that matched the number that had called 911. Kryzanowski told police he’d been in a car with a man named Rick, according to the criminal complaint. Rick gave him the Suboxone, which he took shortly thereafter, he said.
Information on Kryzanowski’s arraignment, preliminary hearing and bail is not yet available. In the meantime, let Kryzanowski’s fate be a reminder: if you’re planning on breaking the law, please doublecheck that you’ve locked your phone.

i butt dailed 911 when i was rolling a fatty once. i realized it because they called my ass back, and i was freaked as fuck when i saw the i was getting a phone call from 911.
but i answered it and cleared things up and apologized, and it wass all good.
then i lit my joint

these new smart phones have an emergency calling setting that can dial 911 while the phone is on lock. Sometimes ill pull my phone out my pocket and its on the emergency dial setting about to call 911. Kinda dumb

the police made phone companies install that on everybody's phones so they can listen in on you if you accidentally press the emergency button

If your phone isn't flip it should absolutely be locked. I make sure mine is.
