Well....what does one do with a pound of dry mushrooms? I personally have done a few PF grows and have more mushrooms than I know what to do with! (plus a monotub that looks like it's going to be EPIC and make my problem much 'worse' soon )

No, and if that's where the discussion was we'd all be in agreement. But OP keeps going on about how this is a great method and will have huge yields. Which is not the case. It's an adequate small grow with an adequate small yield.
And it could be the start of something better, if OP wanted to do something better. But he doesn't want to take prints, make clones, or any of that, he just wants to trip. And that's fine as far as it goes. We aren't judging him on that so much as the big talk.
-------------------- You make it all possible. Doesn't it feel good?
Kits are OK for first time growers who don't know if they're really interested in the hobby or not.
However, coming to a mushroom cultivation forum to brag about using a kit is akin to going to a custom woodworking forum to brag about the pressed sawdust lamp table you bought at home depot.
