Surrounded by dummies

Completely and utterly. What did I do to deserve this existence, a pinnacle of sharp thought caught in the muddle of morons.
There's only one problem with this idea, one feeling that I just cannot shake no matter how hard I try. What if that dummy in the office next to me is thinking the exact same thing, then what does that make me if not just another dummy doing his thing.

I was going to point that out. And yes that is exactly what they're thinking.

Very tempting, but I can think of better things to do with my time than drive around in a dirty van covered in dog hair solving supernatural mysteries that always end up being silly crimes perpetrated by foolish tricksters.
As for the others in this thread, yes he is most likely thinking the same. A hole in the logic of one who would think he is more clever than another.

It is true, jwist, that most people think highly of themselves/higher than others anyway. That really means nothing. Simply because probably 1/2 the time someone thinks this, they are tellin themselves the truth, for the other half, they are simply doing what they can to make themselves feel better, yet also lying to themselves. I don't find it hard to differentiate who deserves what side in RL. It's pretty obvious, IMO. Dummies act/speak dumb even if they tell themselves they do differently. Example: My roommate and his gf (whom I don't consider complete fools, yet definitely aren't Quite anywhere near that sharp pinnacle you speak of), actually sat down the other day and tried to say something along the lines of how: " they can't stand talking to dumb people, blah blah blah, it makes them feel dumber blah blah blah" I was definitely amused as I never can find one thing that comes out of their mouths worthwhile/of value. Yet they assume differently and continue doing so, even when I play my game of pointing out all the ignorant shit they spew into the world. It's kind of cute. Like a baby drowning and you may have some desire to save it, but you know by the time you get to the other end of the pool, you might as well be beating the corpse with a stick. Biggest thing is not lying to yourself. I know I'm not a fucking physicist, but I know I can logically progress throughout my day/life/thoughts, to make me WAYYY more of a efficient-seeming human. 1L

Duh We aren't disputing that though. Dummies need to be told what to do by the "great ones", eh? So, I'm all ears!

It's only hypocritical in that the answers to the questions that actually matter and would truly separate one person as being greater than another, have no known answers. Hell, even the elite have a hard time just coming up with the correct questions. Life as such. Doesn't mean there's not plenty of poor creatures out there that haven't been granted the ability to reason and use logic like some of us are able. If so, this forum would be even more amuck, as well as any other forums out there that don't cater to the "average joe".

This is a pretty nonsensical and presumptuous statement.

I don't think its like this at all. Because the baby doesn't deserve to drown, but stupid people do.
Also I don't beat corpses with sticks. Kinda pointless. But whatever floats your boat

Stupid people were all once babies. If they drown they are saved from being stupid.

There is always someone smarter and more logical than us (im not including myself here of course) so we are always stupid to someone.
