It's been about a month and I only have one jar that's colonizing, I inoculated six pint jars three got contam two show nothing and one is about a three inch diameter of mycelium. It looks very wet "like glycerin" but only where the mycelium is growing. I smell nothing, doesn't look bad just very slow. I had it in an area with temp about 83-85 then began to think it was to hot so I moved it to about a 72-75f area and took the top off so it could breath....dry verm layer. Got sick of waiting so knocked up nine half pints with 12cc of shitaki that was about a week ago maybe longer and still nothing. I use the search and everything looks good jars, FC everything looks good just slow. Imput helps if your not a dick, if you are just move.

Shiitake doesn't do well in 1/2 pints. What did you use in the jar?

gt boss, just dont like saying and I have two jars that were knocked up that didn't grow can I reuse the jar? Still going to wait on the half pints it's only been a week..... How long should I let the pint breath, it was long enough that the condensation evaperated off the top of the lid.

211 verm, water then brf. Squeezed and was tough to get even one drop out so I think it was just right...not too wet. Steamed for three hours let cool naturally over night. Shower, gloves, Lysol the shit out of my innoc area, no air flo, burned needle, cooled with alcohol towel then innoc. Just super slow or no growth. Don't want to give out vendor but legit headshop in my area.
