Welcome to the July 2012 Ethnobotanical Garden Picture of the Month Nominations thread. In this thread you can nominate the best pictures posted in the Ethnobotanical Garden and other forums during the month of July. At the end of July all nominations go into a poll and we can vote on which should be the Picture of the Month. Anyone can nominate a picture. Four contest rules: 1. Original botanical-related pictures only. 2. Posted during July only. 3. No Self-nominations allowed. 4. No humans are to be in the shot. Each nomination should include:- A thumbnail linking to a larger version of the picture.
- A brief description.
- The name of the picture's owner.
- A link to the thread in which the picture was originally posted.
For example: Salvia divinorum inflorescence by psyke101 posted hereHere's a link to last month's nominations thread for further clarification: June 2012 Pic of the Month NominationsAlso, if you are yet to vote for June's POTM you can do so here: here

Once the city is dead, the vegetation will cover it, will climb over the stones, grip them, search them, make them burst with its long black pincers; it will blind the holes and let its green paws hang over everything.
