Yeah I know....its hard to throw a 90mph ball. Boo hoo. Its also hard to hit it. So why not just get some guys together and we can watch em play catch? It would still be funner to watch than baseball. 90% of the game is just standing around.

i love sports but i kinda agree with you. baseball is kinda bullshit, all the pitches sit in the dugout and eat candy while everyone else stands around. dude pitches for 6 innings and then has 5 days off, at least for me team. you ever notice how many of those dudes are totally overweight, alota fat baseball players out there, bunch o bs to do shit like that and call yourself and athlete. i still love getting hammered and cheering on my team though because i never know the outcome which is what makes sports exciting, except for basketball because that shit is more rigged then the other sports imo

Completely agree. Baseball is boring as fuck. The ONLY reason I would go is if beers were $1 and I got a free ticket. Plus, ping pong rules!!!! It's just hard to find good people to play with.

i've had this argument dozens of times with friends. They're rebuttal for saying that baseball is a sport is that you can get hit by the ball 
When they say that baseball is more of a sport than soccer, that's when they cross the line

Im a fuckin ping pong master. Well, I was. Havent played in years. Anyhow, a few years ago I went a game with my family. Didnt even watch it. Me and my uncle just got drunk off of $6 beers and talked about music and crazy ex-girlfriends. I have no idea who even won the game.

Baseball is a slow boring sport.
The worse thing about that "sport" is that you can buy the championship. I think its the only sport where money can get you the championship year after year.
I'd like to see a hockey GM try to buy the Stanley Cup.
I also dislike sports where everything depends on one player. Like baseball depends on the pitcher, football depends on the QB.

Baseball is way more 1 player centered than football. A good running back can make up for an otherwise shitty team like Barry Sanders did for the Lions.

I can't stand baseball, but it's something... It's more of a game where plays are practiced over and over until it becomes clockwork, then in the game it's all about that precision. Which I find boring as fuck. I had a friend explain it to me, but he played baseball growing up so he was really into it. Guess you have to play to be able to watch.
Ping pong is fucking legit. Straight up speed, precision, improvision, and skill with every hit.

Baseball is pretty much the chess version of sports. It's statistically driven with occasional HRs and 90-100 MPH fastball balls inches to your body and get him. I love it. To each their own.

Adult baseball is boring to me but as a kid it was such a fun game to play. Playing sandlot ball with the neighborhood kids mad up much of my summers growing. It probably wouldn't have been as enjoyable if we weren't so prone to mistakes. We did a lot of modifying of the rules though. As most of us got older and started playing for school teams it lost it's appeal and we dropped baseball for other things.
I used to be a ping pong wizard in high school. It wasn't until moving to the city and starting college when I finally met people who were around my skill level. Eventually I became pretty busy and rarely had the time to play so I got rusty. I'm still decent/ok, but it takes me way too long to warm up now. Most of the games I play these days are with people just giving their hand that's not holding a beer something to do.

I was actually pretty decent at baseball, I just lost interest in it and devoted my free time to other stuff.
