 how to get a shy guy to follow through

So this isn't exactly a sex question, but more like, how to understand what is on a shy guy's mind, and hopefully have him as my boyfriend. Since his intentions are perplexing. Here is my post on the matter, a trip report with this guy I really liked who was shy and sensitive (my type), and just stopped sort of replying to me. I'm not sure what to make of it.

tell him to "man the fuck up". Shy guys just need direction. Give him some orders or requests.

Lol. I already asked if he wanted to do acid, and he was like "sure", and then when I tried to follow up, he didn't even reply to my text, nor did he even reply when I wanted to just smoke weed with him. I have no idea what he's up to!

Try doing something not drug related. Maybe he's not into drugs.

Seriously, just tell him exactly what you want to do. I'm a really shy guy and would love to find a girl who let's you know exactly what she wants.
Also, if being straight-up with him doesn't work; he may just not be interested in you in that way

Not sure. In that thread I linked how we seemed to have bonded, and how abruptly, he just sort of ignored my texts. He hasn't used psychedelics since we last hung out, but he's a shy guy. I just wish I could interpret him. I want to bond with him, I almost loved him, I guess that was just because I haven't had too many experiences hanging out with genuinely nice, sensitive and sweet guys, but hey, what is love anyway if not circumstantial. So yeah. My emotions/thought processes on his behaviors are detailed there. Any interpretations are welcome.

Good advice. Well he told me I was "beautiful", and that he really enjoyed hanging out but that may have just been to make me feel better on the trip, but I have no idea. I honestly just want a platonic relationship with a sweet guy like that, where I know he enjoys my company and we like to be with each other.

Here's the way our texting proceeded after my first trip. He also never answers my phone calls, I just called him twice like about 5 days apart, yet, when we were hanging out, I'd see him answering calls and texts all the time.

He's not. I know that for a fact, since we were talking about the concept of marriage and he was like "If I loved a girl, I wouldn't need an elaborate ceremony to prove it. We would just have it in a garden, with just a few friends, and plenty of weed" and I was like "I so agree".
And what did you make of his personality and all after the trip report?
And why would his sexual orientation anyway affect us hanging out? I mean, he hangs out with guy friends all the time just to smoke, so I still don't see why that would necessitate him just randomly ignoring my texts like that. As a guy, what would make you? I didn't spam him I think, as you can see from that post.

lol haha thanks! well it was weird. when we went to the park together while i was coming down from my first trip, he was my sitter, he said i was a beautiful girl and that he really enjoyed hanging out, and i was really touched by that and I really thought we would be friends. i just hope he's painfully shy and someday I'll get to see him again. *sigh*. I don't even remember how he looks exactly, I just remember feeling excessive love, probably from the shrooms too lol. haha. whatever.
