Are these panaeolus cinctilus? (first time hunting)

Okay, well I went for a quick walk in my field to see if I could spot any. I had trouple identifying them. I knew the stem went from white to dark. Maybe even has some blue at the end, and the caps had those rings, I forget what they're called. I just looked up some pictures and some of these resemble them extremely! But I am taking a spore print right now. Please let me know if you think these are panaeolus cinctulus (subbs). Thanks in advance1

No livestock and I live in Alberta, Canada if that helps! Are they edible and not deadly for sure?

The gills just look too brown to be a Panaeolus species. I agree with Panaeolina. Inactive despite any conflicting information you might dig up on the internet. They are edible, but do not taste good.

Do they have psilocybin/psilocin in them? Are they just a regular mushroom or are they in fact shrooms?

Panaeolus is a genus with black spores and a few "magic" species. Panaeolina have brown spores and are not "magic". Other differences are like I mentioned the gill color which is loosely related to spore print color (an important identifying feature).

Cinctulus have black gills and a thick stem that has a fairly reddish color. foenisecii look like the mushrooms that you found, brown/cream stem and brownish gills. The spore print is also a brown color on foenisecii while cinctulus have a black spore print.

check out horse fields. look directly on the dung. also, check out newly laid lawns and/or freshly sodded areas a day or 2 after the rain. housing developments with sprinklers are a good bet as well.
good luck.
