I check prices for minutes at a time at the grocery store? Why? Because I don't want to spend money I don't have to, and I'm usually high as fuck. I still tip far better than most. You mad?

I'm saying you get in line and price check an item that came up twenty cents more expensive and make everyone else wait for you. That's a total dick move.

my job is to serve everyone that come in, to make their stay pleasant, if I
get pissed about one group then others notice and that also affects my tips,

Yeah I mean the old restaurant I worked at had some ridiculous servers and service was always prime. They still got shit and got ran around like a bitch.

Thank You Prisoner#1 and how aren't these threads deleted. I figure even this mild discussion of racial judgement while not over the top would still be too much.

I asked a black guy (cook) one time a looooong time ago when I first started waiting tables why some black people do not tip well, or not at all. He said to me "it's their way of getting back at the white people". I never forgot this. I was in Texas when this happened. I noticed in New Orleans the black people tipped well or 15%. It may have been the area. I always give great service no matter what because you never know who will tip well. Some people just will not tip well or not at all no matter what. They just won't. They even know about the minimum wage deal too.
Prisoner#1, did you wait tables in Atlanta? This may have been a factor too.

the topic of racism comes up, it shouldnt be taboo to discuss it, some people
arent even aware at just how racist they are and they're the open minded

I waited tables in places from atlanta to commerce, gainesville and athens,
it's the south, the racism here isnt nearly what it is in most of the
country, I waited tables during freaknik for 7 years in which 90% of the

holidays and these people came from all over. I had one table not tip me, 5
black women, they were such cunts that their husbands wouldnt even sit with

NO, I meant that he may have gotten better tips in an area where there were more black people and he did not treat anyone differently as he stated. The perks he got certainly made up for any low tips.

Funding for education is based on property tax. White men and others oppress black people (and many others) in as many ways as they possibly can. Black people are cheap because racism has driven their economic capabilities. They don't do it because they are stingy people. They do it because they are broke and it's not their fault.

Personally I havn't really seen this happen at the restaurant I work at. However the only black people that really go there are the ones that are lobbyist for when state congress is in session since all the congressmen tend to think they own the place.

atlanta was great, waiting table I made around $100-$200/night at a waffle
house, in the bars I made $200-$400 per night, filling in for a friend at
a gay bar, $500-$700/night. I didnt catch a lot of shit from anyone, I got
cheers when I'd toss someone out or chase down a walk out. luckily that was
rare because I took the fastest route, sometimes that was over a table.
Students are claimed to be bad tippers, I always got good tips from them too
