 why are black people so fucking cheap?

Can anyone account for this? They are on the whole by far the worst tippers and 99% of the time I see someone price check something for a minute difference at the grocery store, they are black. Just some empirical observations.  when I was hosting i would give the servers I hated a string of black tables because they rarely tip. It's seriously almost like clockwork.

1. Lack of money.
2. Resentment, having served white people for so long, they like to take full advantage of having the "tables turned", thus very often become very demanding with servers, and stiff on the tip.

It's honestly probably the way they are raised everyone comes from different backgrounds.

I was a server for several years and actually asked my black buddy/drug dealer this question and he answered "because they just don't give a shit". I was was like makes sense.

This has come to be my understanding. In my experience rednecks, Indians, and young kids all tip just as badly.

I live in arguably one of the most whitest areas of the country.
The other night my spouse and I went to the movies and I tipped the girl $5. Felt bad since the last few times I didn't have money to throw her a tip.
There were like 50 people in line in a tiny ass room and she was working her ass off.
She was as surprised. Asked my spouse why she acted surprised and I guess white people around here must not tip for shit. Girl was working her ass off, looked haggard, opening day for a shitload of movies, tiny theatre etc.
I'm glad it made it her day. Probably never see her again. But hey, why not ya kno?
What bugs the fuck out of me is the giant cup / can / box or whatever at a business with tip money in it. If the people working are being paid minimum wage and it's a standard service I'm supposed to be guilted into tipping?
When I worked at a liquor a store a woman asked me if our box thing actually went to supporting breast cancer or if we split it at the end of the week.
We actually donated it... she was surprised at my saying that.

Yeah. I hate how my coffee shop has a tip line on the receipt. It makes me feel obligated to tip for a regular coffee which takes no effort. I'll tip for a beer or a five dollar fancy coffee but black coffee, no.

My dad taught me that when you're at a bar, standard tip is $1 per drink, or $2 if the bartender makes 'em good.
